Sliced Veneers

The beauty of our woods are simply breathtaking. We carefully select our logs in order to have the best yield possible of first quality veneers.

Each log is quartered cut as we call Cathedral type and each species has its own cooking time at our tanks, then it goes to the peeler where it’s sliced in 0.6mm thick, then right away goes to our driers. Right after, each veneer is carefully handled to cut to size in length and width, then packaged according to its quality and final size.

The lengths can vary from 2.30m up to 3.20m, and widths are from 13cm up to 45cm.

The species are:

  1. Curupixa (Micropholis venulosa) (photo)
  2. Tauari (Couratari guianensis)
  3. Cerejeira (Amburana acreana)
  4. Copaiba (Copaifera multijuga)
  5. Cumaru (Dipteryx odorata)
